Ed Rollins opens up about Lee

Posted: Jan 16 Category: Sneak Previews |

An hour before my interview with Ed Rollins, a bunch of jackhammers fired up outside the window. Typical. I had to frantically hustle all the gear to a midtown hotel room and jam the two beds upright, leaving barely enough room to shoot. I’d been looking forward to this interview although I knew it would dredge up some painful memories for Ed.

In that room, darkened like a confessional, Ed gave a moving interview about his friendship with Lee, their brutal falling-out, and deathbed reconciliation. Here’s a brief taste from the rough cut of BOOGIE MAN.You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

Lee Atwater looks like a very complex individual, looking forward to seeing the movie! And, I can’t believe Ed Rollins is now running a baptist minister’s campaign. How is that going to go over in South Carolina?
